These Terms & Conditions govern your use of serenitycounseling.care and Serenity Counseling Center, PLLC’s text messaging program. By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

Website information

Website content is provided for general informational purposes and does not create a therapist-client, prescriber-patient or other healthcare-provider relationship. It is not medical or mental health advice, diagnosis, treatment, crisis support or a substitute for care from a qualified professional.

Website forms, email and text messages are reviewed during normal business hours and are not monitored for emergencies. In a crisis, call or text 988. For an emergency, call 911

Scheduling and services

Submitting a form or message does not guarantee an appointment. Confirm insurance coverage or establish a professional relationship. Counselor availability, scheduling options, and services may change. Please contact the office to confirm current information.

SMS Terms of Service

If you consent to receive SMS messages from Serenity Counseling Center, PLLC, you may receive customer care messages, responses to general questions, appointment reminders and follow-up messages.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Serenity does not charge a separate fee for text messages. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

You may opt in by selecting an optional website checkbox or by providing express verbal or written consent that Serenity records. If you text Serenity first, we may reply to the conversation you initiated. Consent to receive text messages is optional and is not a condition of receiving services.

To stop receiving messages, reply STOP to any Serenity text. You may also contact the office and request removal.

After a STOP request, you may receive one confirmation message and then no further messages unless you opt in again.

For help, reply HELP or call 281-783-8182. You may also email [email protected]. Do not include sensitive clinical information in a text message.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect information. SMS consent and phone numbers collected for SMS communication purposes will not be shared with any third party or affiliates for marketing purposes.

You agree not to misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, submit unlawful or harmful content, or use the website in a way that violates another person's rights or applicable law.
